In recent times orthopedics and trauma surgery have become the largest area within the surgery. There will be an exhibition accompanying the Congress by more than 230 companies with an area of 6,000 m². This year's theme "Beyond the Horizon" would like to awaken your curiosity to see the big picture. The DKOU Congress is one of the largest in Germany. From the acute and emergency surgery to conservative rehabilitative treatments, so many different new innovative professional perspectives are possible.

The exhibition also includes information stands, award ceremonies, a charity run and opportunities for certification.

The German Society of Trauma Surgery (DGU), the German Society for Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery (DGOOC) and the Professional Association of Specialists in orthopedics and trauma surgery (BVOU) organize the German Congress of Orthopedics and Traumatology (DKOU) every year.
